Packs of Promises
Through the generosity of our church family and community, what began as a small idea grew into something greater than we imagined. We received over 50 backpacks and more than 300 individual school supplies, allowing us to create packs filled not only with supplies, but with encouragement and hope.
These were more than backpacks.
They were packs of promises—promises that our children deserve to dream, to learn, to grow, and to walk into a new school year knowing that someone believes in them.
This fundraiser taught us that ministry doesn't always happen behind a pulpit. Sometimes, ministry looks like packing a backpack. Sometimes, it looks like donating a box of pencils. Sometimes, it looks like showing up.
